Product Description
Readers are provided with an especially clear and coherent understanding of the sequence and underlying processes of child development, and the effective topical organization emphasizes to readers the way in which all of the domains of development relate - physical, cognitive, emotional, and social-throughout the book. Berk revised the book offering readers a heightened emphasis on the interplay between biology and environment, expanded coverage of culture, and an enhanced focus on education, health, and social issues. While carefully considering the complexities of child development, Berk presents classic and emerging theories in an especially clear, engaging writing style, with a multitude of research-based and real-world examples. For anyone working with children, or those in the fields of child development, child psychology and childcare.

Great Condition and Fast Shipping September 29, 2008 It came in great condition, with seal still on!! and paying a little extra for shipping didn't hurt.
Wrong Item September 7, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Instead of the actual Child Development hardcover 7th edition by Berk I received the 3rd edition study guide. So I would say not to buy from this seller because they take your money and send the wrong product.
Great book, sucky publisher September 7, 2008 I am so displeased with this publisher PEARSON I had to return and comment. The description of this book on Amazon hints to having the MyDevelopmentLab code seeing as how it's in the description. After spending over $100 I received the book with no codes. Our class is two weeks in and only a small handful of kids have the book. It was promised a month ago. Bad business of a publisher. I hope teachers re-think buying the latest editions. Not much has changed, I'm sure, in the last few years that a teacher couldn't look up herself and tell us about it. Instead we are forced to buy a book that doesn't even come with all it's parts!!
Can't review it. June 18, 2008 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
I would love to review this book, but I can't because the seller took my money and never shipped the book. I have filed a claim with Amazon, and I'm waiting further notice.
Alright February 14, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I didn't realize the pages would be in black and white like they were copied. And I don't see why the book was still just as much even though it was the economy edition.
