Product Description Have you ever wished you could peer into someones mind to find out what he or she is really thinking? Now you can . . . really. This book is not a collection of recycled ideas about body language. It does not suggest that a womans hairstyle will give us unprecedented access into her soul, neither does it draw wildly ambiguous generalities about people based on our intuition or gut instinct, nor does it reach conclusions based on how she folds her hands or he ties his shoelaces. This book contains specific, proven psychological techniques that can be applied instantly to any person in just about any situation. Dr. Lieberman has demonstrated the ease and accuracy of these techniques on hundreds of television and radio programs. In a special report for FOX News, host Jeff Rosin declared, Its simply amazing! I was with him and he was never wrong . . . not even once. I even learned how to do it and thats saying something. In fact, Dr. Lieberman has gone head-to-head on live television, with skilled polygraph examiners and scored just as wellevery time. You Can Read Anyone shows step-by-step exactly how to tell what someone is thinking and feeling in real-life situations. For example, you will see precisely how to determine whether another poker player will stay in or fold, whether a salesperson is trustworthy, or whether or not a first date is going your way or the other way. And when the stakes are highnegotiations, interrogations, questions of abuse, theft, or fraud-- knowing who is out for you, and who is out to get you (or a loved one) can save you time, money, energy, and heartache.

I think it is a 'top seller' because of what it promises not what it delivers. September 23, 2008 i had great excitement when i got this. i was disappointed (i have the audio tape). he is not a professional reader. he READS to me, not talks, so he goes very very fast. it doesn't sink in. plus, i want more personal examples. there are only a few. and, the examples he gives seem most useful for a law enforcement interogator, or a jury profiler. this would be far better presented in a workshop situation where one could see videos of 'the guilty party', and where one could practice. as it is, i would save my money and not recommend this. or get it from the library. i think it is a 'top seller' because of what it promises not what it delivers.
but who am I? September 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Its a little difficult to read and comprehend on the 1st go. Or, maybe I'm just not focused.
What the? August 27, 2008 I ordered the audio download to listen to while driving. Unlike other audio books, some quite complex, I couldn't follow what the author was talking about. I felt like the version I got was missing every other page. The techniques discuss were very narrowly applicable. In my opinion, the book has a killer title, but only mediocre content. Although he touches on many uses of reading people, like in sales or on a date, none of it had legitimate depth and none of it was easy to follow. His other book, "Never be Lied to Again" was better written, easier to follow and fulfilled one's assumptions base on the tile's words. This one? Not that great.
Excellent resource August 22, 2008 This is an excellent book, but you really need to invest time in studying and reviewing its contents if you want to master this skill. Well worth the effort if you are serious.

This book I find interesting. I don't know if all of what he says checks up with reality however there is only one way to find out.
