This book will exceed your expectations. As a psychologist who worked for one of the authors, I can attest to the credibility of this work. The book is exceptionally well-written; typical of these two authors. This is an exceptionally lucid presentation of what is flawed with behavioral health care, and how to make it right again. The authors brilliantly take the reader along an incredible journey related to how mental health care, especially psychological care, has blundered its way along missing tremendous opportunities to make better lives for everyone. If clinical psychology as a respectable profession can be saved, this is the work that illuminates the path to that salvation.
