helpful book October 12, 2008 I learned about this book from a institute where i get automatic e mails about NLP. I bought it immediately and i am almost finished. I learned some new mantras which are quite helpful. I like the book in general but the exercises seem a bit boring:-) I will read the book again to do the exercises. I believe this book will change my life, it started already.
This is a banquet feast of a book! October 12, 2008 Do you remember the last time you read a book that you couldn't put down? Do you remember how thrilled you felt and wanted to read it cover to cover again and again?
For me, this is a huge banquet feast of a book! While you're learning successful hypnotic methods, your unconscious now wants to enjoy this most pleasurable and successful bouquet of techniques, Richard has provided in this masterwork!
I've found that this book is truly a triumph and contains the easiest path to becoming a master hypnotist, as you gorge on extremely effective and simple methods it contains to optimally change yourself, and others, into your maximized relaxed state!
I'm convinced, yes to day is the day you can pick up true inner power with this easy to learn, easy to apply masterpiece!

I'll admit I've read Nlp books and felt lost... Even though I knew the teachings were sound and capable of changing your thinking. I just couldn't grasp the "practical" side of applying nlp to my life. But this book changed all that.
It's like you get to sit in on intimate sessions with Richard Bandler as he spins his magical web. Not only that, he hand delivers powerful shortcuts to change almost every area of your life. Only it's not with theory and fluff, but simple exercises you can... and will... use to instantly change your mind.
If you ever wanted to experience the full potential of nlp, or your confused about how to apply nlp to achieve personal and lasting growth, then this will be the best nlp book you will ever read.
P.S. Thanks Richard for sharing this.
Best NLP Book I've Read October 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Most books on NLP are poorly written and full of jargon that assumes a lot of familiarity with the field. This is especially true of Bandler's books, many of which are transcribed talks from workshops that he has given.
THIS BOOK IS A GEM. Give it to your friends and colleagues. Each chapter deals with a specific type of problem such as a phobia or post traumatic stress . The chapters are short and sweet. At the end of each chapter, he summarizes the process in a one, two, three list. It is sort of NLP for Dummmies. Hat's off to Bandler. He is a giant of psychology and now he finally has written a book for the masses.

A great toolbox for self-development!!!!!! October 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recommend this book strongly to anyone who wants to productively develop themselves in every way that counts. Now sure, the title sounds like a standard title that would put you off, but the information (which is what counts the most) is amazing, yet the most simple, time-tested and powerful principle in the world that works, God's/Existence's Supercomputer: The Mind and how to use it right. So, let it be said here, I fully and wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who genuinely wants to better their lives in any way that is rationally possible to them.
