Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars An amazingly interesting, reader-friendly social geographical text!   September 23, 2007
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

This is the first of its kind- an easily manageable, reader-friendly, colorful and creative, inexpensive book that covers a variety of topics as they pertain to the US population. Interesting and light enough to have as a coffee table book while providing a deeper layer for classroom studies in demographics and social geography, among others. Excellent layout, topic choices, and maps that illustrate the point! A fun and neat way to put the data and stats into understandable terms. Incredible...will there be more volumes on other topics?
