This publication provides an unprecedented resource for anyone interested in the Deaf community, children of Deaf adults or dynamics in an uncommon family environment.

5 out of 5 stars Exceeded my greatest expectations!   December 6, 1998

A comprehensive collection of references that obviously is a labor of love for the author. Dissertations to anecdotes...which span the range of human emotions. These references lead to fascinating research as well as human interest stories of hearing children with deaf parents. The interaction of two cultures and two languages in the same family make this reference book a must for every professional in the field of deafness and bilingualism.

5 out of 5 stars A FINE REFERENCE WORK   August 24, 1998
