Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Asperger Syndrome: An Owner s Manual 2 for Older Adolescents and Adults is the eagerly anticipated sequel to Asperger Syndrome--An Owner s Manual, primarily written for middle school-age children. Using the same easy-to-follow format, this interactive workbook deals with issues that older adolescents and adults face such as relationships, marriage, independent living, employment, self-care, etc. The author uses the nonagram, a nine-pointed star symbolizing achievement and completeness to visually guide readers through each major section of the book This much-needed resource is designed to inform and support individuals with AS as they come to grips with their strengths and challenges and plan for a successful adulthood within the neurotypical world.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Attention all people with AS who think you are doing fine--START WITH THIS BOOK!   August 4, 2008
People with Asperger Syndrome (AS) who want to live up to their full potential as a productive member of society need to read this book. If you don't mind being ostracized except by your closest friends, then don't bother. But if you feel you have talents and interests that you'd like to pursue by getting and holding down a job, you'd better read this book. It will help you become aware of simple things to make interact with others less stressful, including your husband, wife or parent. Get this book and do the worksheets! They are fun and you will reap great rewards!

Parents of older adolescents: this book will only be useful after your AS child has accepted their diagnosis, are aware of issues that prevent them from reaching their full potential, and are willing to at least keep an open mind enough to begin reading the workbook.
