Horrible review book - get the O'Sullivan instead February 4, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The information contained in this review book is too elementary to be of any help on the NPTE. In addition, the 400 practice questions are all "memorization" questions that require zero analysis. Almost all of the questions on the NPTE will require analysis, so this book is of no help as far as these questions go. Do yourself a favor and buy the O'Sullivan book, which seems to be recommended by professors and students alike as the best resource out there.
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK July 3, 2001 37 out of 39 found this review helpful
I have to say that I was extremely disappointed by this examiniation review book. Each chapter basically contains pages and pages of lists - and THAT IS ALL....if I needed a list of the rotator cuff muscles or the cranial nerves I could just as easily consult my anatomy text thank you. This review boasts 6 practice examinations, but once you have taken one of them, you have pretty much taken them all....why???...because she repeats the same questions over and over, even WITHIN THE SAME TEST!!!! This book is very poorly written and shows an overall lack of effort on the author's part. A friend who graduated a few years ago showed me his copy (a previous edition) and guess what - it included the exact same practice tests as well...looks like Ms. Meyer has been repackaging the same review book for years with no changes. Thanks for nothing....If you want a REAL examination review, do the online review offered by the FSBPT...the same people who create the test....
