36-Hour Day - Very helpful and enlightening June 28, 2008 I appreciate what the authors put together in this book - it has a ton of useful info and has helped me in understanding (and thus adding alittle patience) to what is happening with several senior members of my family.
Not all the info is relevant to my needs, but that's the point, not everyone has the same issues to deal with.
Thanks!
Lightweight... June 26, 2008 Very superficial and general information. I've read a lot on this subject since my mom's diagnosis a couple of months ago and I'm frankly puzzled as to why this book is recommended so frequently.
The Alzheimer Assn's website provides more thorough information. It's extremely well written and easy to understand. And free.

36 Hour Day June 18, 2008 This is a must read by all! Whether you have a family member with Dementia or you are curious about this topic.
dementia June 18, 2008 An excellent book for learning. Some I knew and some I became aware of for the first time. I bought two more books for my children.
A MUST HAVE June 3, 2008 This is known as the caregiver's "bible" for a good reason. If you have a loved-one with any kind of dementia, you really should pick up this book...it's timeless and so helpful.
