Product Description Primary Care Ophthalmology is your ideal source for the most essential information on eye disease. Youll find reviews of relevant anatomy and pathophysiology followed by easy to use outlines of the symptoms, signs, differential diagnoses, treatments, and referral indications for the ophthalmic conditions you are most likely to see in practice. With its clear focus on diagnosis and treatment, this point-of-care reference brings evidenced-based, clinically actionable information to the front lines of primary care. The free, PocketConsult handheld software package provides all the clinical text from the book. Illustrations from the book are also available in an electronic format for optional download.* Text is written mostly in easily accessible outline form, making the reference quick and efficient. * Abundant full-color illustrations include precise labels, insets, and schematics to accurately correspond to the related text. * Succinct coverage provides need-to-know information on symptoms, etiology, workup, and treatment without becoming bogged down in unnecessary details. * The PocketConsult PDA software optionally includes all illustrations from the text for reference on the move. * All instances where sight loss is possible are highlighted. * Both the book and the PDA software contain an extensive Ophthalmic Formulary.

This book provides much incite into Opthalmology. As a current student at the University of Arizona, I can personally say that this book has helped me in ways too legion to count. My professer uses the book as a guide and tells us to refer to it when we have questions, outside of class.
