Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This perennial favorite once again emphasizes the importance of treating the whole person, not just the hearing impaired. Written for students in aural rehabilitation courses, the fourth edition combines previously separated chapters with updates throughout for a more cohesive treatment of aural rehabilitation practices with children through older adults. New technology and treatment considerations are included to provide students with a broad and forward-looking perspective on aural rehabilitation. TEXTBOOK

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Phew, tough read   February 11, 2007
This book is a good and comprehensive guide to rehabilitation. However, it is boring and the layout is very unappealing. I am the type of person who considers a lot of the book content to be common sense and I lose interest when reading it. But nothing in the book is wrong or unnecessary, it is just not appealing to the way my mind works. I used it in my courses and it is sitting on my shelf, however, I have not used it since I took the related courses.
