My son loves Caillou, but I was disappointed with this book. It doesn't include many of the typical zoo animals... they see monkeys, otters, and a couple of others... for one animal family all the picture shows is their noses... the ending is abrupt. I bought Caillou and the Missing Sock at the same time - we've read that book lots of times, but this one is rarely chosen.

My son loves watching Caillou on PBS, so I bought him this book. The main problem is that it just ends without a clear conclusion.

My grandson's favorite character is Caillou! January 9, 2007
Ever since my grandson was a baby we would watch Caillou together. He adores Caillou. Surprisingly not many people in our area know about Caillou from Canada. I buy my grandson anything that has to do with Caillou. Now that he is reading he always chooses books with Caillou. This series is wonderful.
