Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great book for budding ballerinas   June 27, 2008
My 5 year old adores this book. She has danced for 3 years (ballet, jazz, tap) and is very interested in all things dance. I like that this book introduces youngsters to more technical dance terms and gives them a fun way to learn more about the less exciting aspects of dance. She loves the illustrations. I love that this book makes her think and wonder... My 3 year old is fascinated with dance, but can't hang in there all the way to "Z" on this book...maybe in a another year?

A cute book with a dance term for every letter of the alphabet. Explanations are simple enough for pre-school children but really inform them about dance terms that they might not otherwise encounter till they are older. Represents non-western forms of dance as well. I think that this is a book to grow with and to refer back to.
