 "Brisingr" By Christopher Paolini October 16, 2008
Brisingr which is the third book in the now Inheritance Cycle is a very good read it's better then the previous two books by far in my opinion, and it shows that Paolini is maturing as a writer.
Brisingr starts off a few days after "Eldest" left off with Eragon, Roran, and Saphria in Helgrind searching for Katrina who has been held prisoner. Here we can see that Eragons skills have improved both as a Dragon Rider and a magician testing his skills. The book starts out at this point and although im might drag at times in certain places it still has a fast pase most of the time. In Brisingr Eragon will have many things to do including finding a new weapon sense Zar'roc has been taken my Murtagh, he will also have to oversee the Dwarf election for a new king and try to reach the ultimate goal of defeating the evil king Galbatorix once and for all.
All in all Paolini crafts a wonderful third book that is sure now to disappoint if you have like the previous "Eragon" and "Eldest" and as stated earlier it dose drag along in some places but is a very enjoyable read in all. 5/5
Brisingr Oh My This Book is Awesome! October 16, 2008
I loved this book so much I read it in like 3 days. It's the third by Chris and I know that he is super cool. He's my writing hero. The book is for pretty much anyone with the time and patience to read it. If you haven't read all three books I definitely recommend reading them.

This is a very good continuation of the story of eragon. As you read the series you see the author maturing in his craft just as the main character does, making each book better than the last. Don't buy it till you have time to read it, though, because once you start reading you will not put it down until It's finished!

What do you get when you toss some great fantasy works, Pern, and Star Wars into the blender? A dark emperor with mystical powers, a young Jedi... I mean a magic using telepathic dragon rider who's the only one who can stop him. There's some variation but you toss in Dwarves, Elves, and morality issues ad you get at best a lackluster plot. It really should have ended with this book but the beating of the dead horse continues.

Simply an amazing read. You cannot put it down!!! Can't wait for the fourth book.
