Book Description Wedding experts Denise and Alan Fields say it isn't necessary to spend the nationwide average of 11 months of planning and $20,000 for a fabulous wedding. In this new edition of the bridal bargain bible, they outline specific budgets for beautiful weddings that cost a fraction of the average price. This edition includes reviews and ratings of more than 50 new bridal gown designers, tips on surfing the Web and saving on honeymoon costs, and a guide to the best online wedding bargains in the aftermath of the dot-com shake-up. The authors explode the "three costly myths" about wedding catering, show how to negotiate a great deal on a ceremony and reception site, and point prospective brides and grooms toward savings on invitations, flowers, wedding videos, entertainment, and more. Illustrations are also included in this latest edition of the best-selling book on weddings.

Bridal Bargins August 17, 2008 This is a great book for Bride's to have. There is a lot of information you would have never thought of threw out this book. When you invest in your wedding, you should add this book in your budget.
Very helpful July 25, 2008 I found this book to be extremely helpful in terms of scams to watch out for, unexpected places to look for bargains, etc. I also found it helped get me thinking outside the box in terms of decorations, music, etc - not only to save money, but also to make my wedding fun and unique. I would recommend complementing it with at least 1-2 other books, though. Personally, I am using one etiquette book and one detail-oriented planning book to keep everything running smoothly.
8th Edition and Still Going Strong July 8, 2008 Bridal Bargains is a wonderful wedding planning book for anyone who wants to save a few dollars, but it's also great for regular brides who need a little help navigating the world of weddings. The tips in the book will not only help you save some money, but they will help you get exactly what you want for your wedding. If you buy one book on wedding planning, buy this one. It's worth every penny.
Best Book Out There July 6, 2008 This has to be one of the best books I have come across. If you are on a budget then let this be your guide. Not only does it have great advice from choosing the dress to flowers to decor and the reception it list great ideas for you along with helpful websites to get what you need. If you want one book that has it all then this is it. It even has ratings to help you.
Great cost-cutting ideas for weddings! July 6, 2008 This book has saved me a small fortune in planning my daughters wedding. Terrific information the wedding industry won't tell you and don't want you to know!!! A "must have" book as far as I'm concerned.
