Inspiring, Remedial, Life-chaging May 23, 2007
I would say this book would be useful to anybody since Susan's underlying principles are indeed universal. But it can be life-changing if you are hearing impaired (like myself) or if you are close to someone who is. The author 's genuine compassion and understanding of what a hearing-impaired person goes through is uncanny. This book has changed my life by allowing me to positively cope with my condition. It has prompted me to get more involved with charitable events that benefit the deaf and hard of hearing. I love you Susan L. Roberts, whoever or wherever you may be.
