Customer Reviews:
The best resource you can find about raising a deaf child January 28, 2003 This is a PHENOMINAL resource for any parent who has just discovered that their child is deaf and doesn't know where to turn. Paul Ogden does a wonderful job of introducing the many options that are available for raising deaf children, as well as helping parents to deal with the emotional aspect of having a child that is deaf. The Silent Garden is a must read for parents of deaf children as well as for those who work in Deaf education, counseling or in any related field of study.
