Great Book July 8, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Marie Forleo's book is not just a book about making every man want you, it's about making everyone want you, including yourself. The five truths that Marie shares with us can truly be life altering. When I first started reading the book, I underlined sections that I felt fit for me and I would want to revisit in the future. I found myself underling something on every page. Marie doesn't just leave us when we finish her book, her offer of a four week life coaching sent by e-mail on a weekly basis and an Action Guide re-enforces what we've learned from her book, and is such a special bonus. This book along with How to Snag a Guy and Keep Him Hooked: 99 Ways to Make Him Ache for You are my favorite self-help guides! Highly recommended both books!
Make every man want you June 28, 2008 I got so much out of this book - not just in terms of dating and relationships. Her advice to stop thinking, start living life in the moment, stop stop arguing with the way life is showing up has helped me not only form more stable, better relationships with men, but also to enjoy life more and have better relationships with everyone in my life. It is an easy read, but there is an enormous amount of wisdom in the book.
Awesome June 20, 2008 I love this book. Whenever I read a "self help" book, I start out by underlining things that are pertinent to me, and things I'd like to revisit in the future for reinforcement. I found myself underlining something on almost every page. I love the concept that we are simply an old collection of thoughts put together by a younger, less experienced version of ourselves. Old habits die hard, and even at the age of 57 it takes a mental awareness to not see things the way as a younger, unexperienced self, but as an older wiser self. I think this is a very important aspect of becoming irresistable, as you have to let go of the old self and grab on to the new self to find your own irresistability. It's amazing what kind of freedom you can feel by not being encumbered by old feelings and thoughts.
I also love the fact that the author has taken the time to stay in contact by offering her website, I've never seen that before, and it's a great bonus.

The name of the book is much more interesting then the subject June 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is not a bad book. It's got positive energy about it, positive concepts and overall it's about a style of living rather then about dating. If someone wants a detailed how-to guide - this is not it. What this book is more about is about self-improvement, and improving quality of your life (which for some reason is replaced a hundred million times in this book by word "irresistibility"). Overall you know the routine - work on yourself, be content with yourself and others will be drawn to you. That pretty much sums up the content of this book. Would I buy it again, if I knew? No not really.
This book helped my marriage May 27, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Marie Forleo's Make Every Many Want You helped my man -- and my marriage. My husband would get all caught up in a situation and be miserable about it rather than accepting the "IS-ness" of the moment. One day he was going to the car dealer to get the tires rotated and oil changed. I suggested he take the book for something to read because he was very curious about why I (a married woman) would want to read Make Every Man Want You -- after all, didn't I already have him? Yes, I did, but I could also use a little more. ;-) Wink, wink.
After he read it, he said the "IS-ness" Marie wrote about spoke to him (obviously, all my talking did not). Since then, he's been a new man and a better husband. We handle the situations and stay in the "IS" of the moment and not in a tornado of drama. Ahhhh. Thank you so much, Marie. Your book for women helped my man and my marriage.
