Product Description Introducing the much-anticipated workbook to the groundbreaking book by the same title, Love & Respect, which has sold over 100,000 copies in the first 120 days. Based upon Ephesians 5:33 and extensive biblical and psychological research, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs reveals the power of unconditional love and unconditional respect and how husbands and wives can reap the benefits of marriage that God intended. Featured on Focus on the Family, the original hardcover trade book now with companion workbook provides excellent study material, whether for a group or for individual couples, as they seek to understand each other and Gods plan for their lives together.

great concepts, mediocre writting style November 25, 2008 Dr. Eggerichs has a great idea incorporating respect into your marriage. He writes as if you've already read a lot of books on love, and harps on the wife a lot. If you can get past the fairly strict gender rolls he ascribes to and read the book for the overall concept of respecting your partner, then this will be a great help for your marriage. I highly recommend reading the appendices. In some cases, I found those to be written better than the actual book.
Actions speak louder than words? November 16, 2008 Love and Respect encourages both actions and words to communicate the real message between husband and wife. Excellent advice; well narrated; thought provoking. We listened to it together; discussed areas that applied to us and gained insight into the WHY we-react-as-we-do . The only comment we really have is: How were couples able to figure out all this information before counsellors?
great book November 5, 2008 I am a senior citizen and wish that I had read this 50 years ago. It is the most easily understood explanation I have ever read about the differences in the way men and women view things. It is extremely helpful in the marriage relationship, both for a first marriage and also for blended families - and I have had both.
Excellent Book November 3, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is amazing! Definitely recommend reading/listening to it and incorporating it's information into one's life!!!
This is a must read! November 3, 2008 I have bought approximately 5 copies of this book and given them away to friends. I have used it to teach small groups on the power of living relationships the way they are intended to be lived. I have also realized the power of this book in my own marriage and family life. It is great!
