A wonderful resource. February 2, 1999 This book contained a wonderful collection of information for anyone involved in the deaf community. Mr. Bull has pulled together a vast amount of information in one place, and made it interesting to read
This is a "must have" for serious students of Deaf culture. December 8, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This publication provides an unprecedented resource for anyone interested in the Deaf community, children of Deaf adults or dynamics in an uncommon family environment.
Exceeded my greatest expectations! December 6, 1998 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A comprehensive collection of references that obviously is a labor of love for the author. Dissertations to anecdotes...which span the range of human emotions. These references lead to fascinating research as well as human interest stories of hearing children with deaf parents. The interaction of two cultures and two languages in the same family make this reference book a must for every professional in the field of deafness and bilingualism.
A FINE REFERENCE WORK August 24, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
