Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A Woman Named Debbie - Please start with 'A Child called IT'.   March 17, 2007
I am 54 years old and until I read the last of this book in Mr. Pelzer's trilogy; I could not forgive my father. My mother I was able to forgive a very long time ago but I just could not forgive him. The books were hard for me to read but I stuck with them and I am so glad I did. As God commands us to forgive, I never really understood why, I was able to forgive my father and it was amazing the burden it lifted from me. Both of my parents are dead and have been for a long time. This fact did not keep me from forgiving and my understanding is that as I forgive them, God will also forgive them. Thank you Dave. Superman was also my hero but my escape was and is in books. Though I was abused it was not ever to the extent of yours. I was also fortunate to be 'rescued'.
