Product Description
When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs.

Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life-first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse-seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent End   September 7, 2008
This was an excellent end to the Twlight series. While at times I tired of the details that I didn't feel necessary to move the story along, I loved the overall story. Everything was tied up in a neat little package. I do feel however, that this book should have been touted as her "adult novel" and not The Host. This book had scenes that I feel were inappropriate for the young adult audiences for which it was targeted.

4 out of 5 stars Unique   September 7, 2008
Although Breaking Dawn had a much different tone than her previous books, its unique set-up and closure is what made me love this book. Final stories are always hard to read...there are so many things the reader personally wants accomplished that authors seldom live up to the expectations. I enjoyed Jacobs book the most with its distinct voice (plus to tell you the truth I was getting a little tired of Bella's "human" voice...yes I know teen girls are often dramatic but the change was welcome). As a writer I think Stephenie Meyer did a wonderful job of finishing the series with as little loose ends as possible. As a parent I applaud her decision to end the conflict peacefully. As a reader I want more Jacob. What can I say. He was the most dynamic character for me so I'm still craving more. Let's hope there are future installments.

I bought this book for my granddaughter but my two daughters-in-law both read it, too. No one could put it down. The whole series has fascinated them. The book is being passed around to many others.

Received in perfect condition and in good time. For a series that I only started reading at the insistance of others, I'm happy to say that I became an addict. The ending could have been stronger in this book but overall it was a series I didn't put down.
