Product Description In his latest work, bestselling author T.D. Jakes presents his take on attracting love in abundance. Jakes suggest that a loving bond - whether marital, sibling, or parental - is one of the key fundamentals toward a prosperous life. T. D Jakes explores ways to strengthen these relationships, urging children to be more patient with their elder parents and siblings to show more gratitude and respect for each other's differences. Jakes shares what it takes to recover after a divorce and make dreams of true love accessible even when the odds seem against it. He uses the lessons he has learned from his own marriage and family life as well as those of others to encourage and inspire people to give and receive the greatest love possible.

Very insightful and realistic December 2, 2008 This book is very well written and realistic. Most people think that when an individual who's a Christian will take that standpoint throughout their material. Even though Bishop Jakes uses biblical scripture, it is used to aid in illustrating his points and it is not "bible" driven. He uses here and now terms, situations, resolutions and this book is WELL worth having. I used it as part of my proposal to my fiance and this being my first marriage; it's been more than insightful. Whether you're about to be married or are currently married, this literature should be read and on your bookshelf. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a prosperous relationship or at least a glimpse at a view of different aspects that may have not crossed your mind.
Guidance December 1, 2008 Haven't completed the whole book, but from what I have read it definetely makes me think of my life and the decisions I want to make going forward, but realizing what has to be changed within in myself and my surroundings.
Before You Do November 14, 2008 Before you do, is a good title for my review. I saw this book promoted on the television and was eager to read it. My eagerness began to recede as I did read it though.
The ideas presented on good decision making are very sound from a human perspective. But, from a spiritual perspective, they are lacking.
Good decisions should come from seeking God's will and applying His written Word to life. This is the basis for a believer. That is not what the book builds upon.
The book builds upon human philosphy. There is very little to no Scripture in the work either. To my suprise, there is also eastern religion, philosphy, and stories included.
I am a T.D. Jakes fan and will continue to be. But, this book was disappointing from a spiritual perspective. So, pay attention and know what you are buying - "BEFORE YOU DO".
One of his Best!! November 11, 2008 Very enlightening as a book of sermons. Spoke on areas of interest that need to be addressed in some of life's most challenging decisions. Would have purchased sooner if only I had realized how powerful it really is...
Get yours today. You won't be disappointed!!
He's Back! November 9, 2008 Bishop is back. This book returns to the engaging, yet informative style of Bishop Jakes' early books ie. Woman thou art Loosed, 10 Commandments.... If you did not like Reposition Yourself because of all the flowery modifiers and theatrical symbolism, then you'll be happy to read this book. Although the book centers around the decision to choose a mate and draws from his daughters wedding, it provides insight and strategies to making any type of decision i.e. financial, career, family. Bishop encourages people to research before they make a decision. This is an entertaining read and you walk away with better decision making skills.
