worked well for my son September 2, 2008
i purchased this bolster for my then 9 month old son to sit on and be rotated by me to help him learn to have more trunk control so he'd be able to sit on his own. i was concerned about whether it was dense enough to hold him and phoned the company, and it has been. it does have more 'give' than the ones used in his occupational therapy sessions but it's more that adequate to keep him upright.
with the help of this and therapy sessions he's done awesome and quickly learned to sit on his own. the therapists continue to show me different exercises to do with him on it (walking on hands to build upper body, controlled sitting). C thinks these are all games so he's often kneeling against it and pushing the bolster around to play.
