 My Best Friend! October 24, 2008
"I had one of these clothes lines many years ago and used it until the wind got tired. It was the best friend I had and I moaned when we moved. I have asked every birthday and Christmas for another one, to no avail..but just the other day I went shopping online and surprised myself! I can once again hang my laundry outside in Gods' sunshine and,yes, it is wonderful. And don't worry ladies, the wind won't get tired...no matter how many loads your kids can dirty. Easy to use clothesline! October 7, 2008
After researching several different clotheslines, I chose this one based on written reviews. It is super easy to set up, my husband simply followed the instructions included and once the concrete was dry, my clothesline was ready! The nicest feature of this clothesline is the ease of set up and removal - we live in a neighborhood where we cannot keep it up overnight, so I fold it nightly and put it inside our screened porch so that it cannot be viewed from the street. The simple ties provided are functional for tying the lines together before folding (to avoid tangles). Very light and easy to carry.
 Ok but easily bent September 30, 2008
I chose this clothline due to the raving reviews that everyone gave. Well I didn't realize how the frame can easily bend. This occurred on one corner. My husband fashioned a piece of steel piping to fit over the bent piece. He had to drill holes to match the ones that the line goes through. I am still stretching the line taught. Everytime I hang laundry I have to do this. Also, I can't get it to close down. I will keep using it and my handy husband will keep repairing it. I think people should invest in sturdier stainless steel. I wish I had now.
very large, rectangular clothesline September 28, 2008
This clothesline is nice and bid. I can hang my sheets and blankets with no problem. My only regret is that I didn't order it in the Spring. I don't even want to think of all the money I could have saved.

This item was set up only once and with a light gust of wind, the few rags I had hanging on it caused the dryer to tip over on the ground. As I bent down to pick it up, I noticed my costly investment become a complete loss. The arm that it fell on was bent so badly that the kink when bent back into position caused the end of the bent arm to fall off and now that there is slack in the lines it won't unfold all the way up deeming it useless.
This was purchased through Deerso via Amazon.com and they are EST and do not accommodate PST hours so when I tried to call them within their 30 day time limit when I could around 3PM, they didn't even have a voicemail to leave messages on. Finally finding time to call them on my vacation day, they told me I could no longer exchange this item and would need to deal directly with Whitney Design. In my opinion, they have poor customer service and do not attempt to accommodate customers in other time zones.
