5 out of 5 stars Awesome!!!   September 3, 2008

This book is amazing - funny, educational, realistic. This book changed my life, because it actually pushed me over the edge to become a vegetarian.

Bottom line: good read, interesting, and humorous.

3 out of 5 stars good information   September 1, 2008

This book contains alot of good information about the products we consume on a daily basis. I seem to be the only person who thinks the tone in which it was written was just dumb. I didn't find the writers to be 'just telling it like it is'. I thought they were trying too hard. Just kind of silly and inappropriate, and I'm no prude. I know it was all for shock value, but I still found all the profanity, for a self help book, to be really odd. But the information they provided was good and I catch myself reading labels more and really paying attention to what goes into my body. I will say they had proof to back up claims and probably did a years worth or more of research. Very important information delivered in an oddball way.

Outstanding You: Discover, Design and Achieve Ultimate Fitness

This book is a cornerstone for any woman seeking a fit body. It's not about being "skinny" as much as it's about being fit and healthy. A truly remarkable book on getting in shape and getting fit for the long term. I can't stress this enough - take advantage of it's readability, size and quick, sharp points. A fantastic book!

5 out of 5 stars much more than expected!   August 28, 2008

This book is not the usual diet book! in fact it is not a diet book at all, it is an expose on all things we consume on a daily basis. This book has honestly changed my life for the better! It forces you to change the way you think about food. If you want change in your life, to become healthier and happier, and nothing so far has worked then this is the answer. You cannot finish this book and not be affected by its words. It forces you to become proactive about your life and the choices you make therein. A very worthwhile buy, one which will be handed around to many many friends!

5 out of 5 stars This book totally changed my life   August 27, 2008

I have read this book 4 times and I now have it on an audio book as well to listen to the wealth of information. I am so excited about it that I am telling everyone that I know about the book and I have been giving them away as life changing gifts. I didn't by the book to "get skinny" I bought this book because it was floating around out office and I thought that the title was catchy. Low and behold bam I am not the same. No book that I have ever read has had this kind of impact on me!
