The Best Fertility Book EVER! September 15, 2008
We had an autistic son at the time someone recommended this book to us. Autism is 4 times more prevalent in boys than girls and we wanted one more child. We loved our son to pieces, but wanted to try for a girl. If we got a boy, than we got a boy. If we got an autistic, than we got an autistic. It really didn't matter - but we thought we'd try (the natural way ) to reduce our chances for another austistic child. I read the entire book (cover to cover); charted my ovulation based on temps and cervical fluid.. and when we were ready to try, I got pregnant the first month and with a girl! This book is a book you'll read over and over again as you go through different stages in your life. It's wonderful! I had a friend who was having trouble conceiving. I lent her my book and voila! 2 other friends used the book to achieve pregnancy with the sex of their choosing. READ IT!

This book is very informative. I did not learn all the things she teaches you about your body. It is also good if you are Catholic since she talks about family planning.

I had never really paid too much attention to my reproductive system (I was on the Pill, Depo-Provera and Implanon, anything convenient and easy...) until I started thinking of starting a family. What I knew about my system was what I had learned in school and as it was a while ago I needed to refresh my memory. I bought several books so that I knew prior to pregnancy what kind of journey it was and know how to prepare my body. This book taught me so much about my body and made it so interesting, I couldn't let the book down. I think that every girl should read this book while growing up. It does not only refresh your memory but it adds a significant amout of information to your brain. I now cherish my gender a lot more and I am proud of the little hitech mechanical system living within me that I use to take for granted. Education is always a gift :) Read this book and meet you!

I decided to buy this book after a recommendation from a friend, whose doctor told her about it. I decided to buy it as soon as my husband and I started trying for a baby to speed up the process of getting pregnant. I learned so much about my body through this book. I definitely recommend it for ALL women - those who want a baby and those who'd like to prevent one. GREAT read!
